Business Visa
This visa allows you to on and manage a business in Australia, conduct business and investment activity in Australia or undertake an entrepreneurial activity in Australia.
There are four visa streams under the Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP - subclass 188). The BIIP 188 visas offer a direct pathway to permanent residence after three years, subject to meeting certain residence and investment or business turnover requirements. The initial visa will be valid for five years.
Business Talent (Permanent Visa)
Significant Business History StreamFor wealthy business owners with a significant history who want to do business in Australia. You must have net business and personal assets of at least AUD 1.5 million and an annual business turnover of at least AUD 3.0 million.
Venture Capital Entrepreneur StreamFor venture capital entrepreneurs who have sourced venture capital funding of at least AUD 1.0 million from a member of the Australian Venture Capital Association Limited to start the commercialisation and development of a high-value business idea in Australia.
Provisional Business Visa (leading to Permanent Business Visa)
Business Owner StreamFor people with business skills who want to establish, develop and manage a new or existing business in Australia, and score at least 65 points on the Points Test.
Business Investor StreamFor people who want to make a designated investment of at least AUD 1.5 million in an Australian State of Territory and maintain business and investment activity in Australia, and score at least 65 points on the Points Test.
Significant Investor StreamFor people who are willing to invest at least at least AUD 5.0 million into complying investments in Australia and want to maintain business and investment activity in Australia.
Business innovation streamFor people with business skills. It let you operate a new or existing business in Austraila.
